NO matter if you call it a romper, a playsuit, a jumper or even a onesie, Venus Williams debut outfit for this years Wimbledon is an eye-popper.
When the former world number one took to Court Two yesterday to face off against Uzbekistan’s Akgul Amanmuradova yesterday, it wasn’t Williams’ ground stroke that set tongues wagging but her strange get-up.
The 31-year-old’s curious white one-piece, featuring an odd cut-out panel at the back and baggy top, has earned the sportswoman no boost in the style ranks.

Williams defended her get-up after the match.
“Jumpers are very now, as is lace,” she said.
“I’m really into zippers, so it has a focal point of a zipper in the front. It’s just fun.”
In recent years, the tennis ace has earned a reputation for her bizarre on-court fashion choices including tutus and bedazzled dresses.
